PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injection molding die of a simple structure with high molding precision. SOLUTION: This injection molding die for a plastic optical lens comprises: a molding element 2 of the movable half side of a molding die with a movable half side molding surface 2a; an outer molding element 1 of the movable half side for retaining the molding element 2 from outside; a ball retainer 8 of the movable half side which retains a plurality of balls 9 in a ball retaining cylinder 10; a molding element 4 of the fixed half side which has a molding surface 4a of the fixed half side; an outer molding element 3 of the fixed half side which retains the molding element 4 of the fixed half side from outside; and a ball retainer 8 of the fixed half side which retains the balls 9 in the ball retaining cylinder 10. Through the interposition of the balls 9, the molding element 2 of the movable half side and the outer molding element 1 of the movable half side, and the molding element 4 of the fixed half side and the outer molding element 3 of the fixed half side are aligned, respectively. A tapered fitting recessed part 5 is formed in the outer molding element 1 and a tapered fitting projecting part 6 is formed in the outer molding element 3. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
