PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picture frame capable of applying light to the whole surface of an object for appreciation with a small quantity of light sources. SOLUTION: The picture frame 1 has a thick rectangular frame body 2, and a front frame panel 4, an intermediate frame 5 and a base panel 7 with the object 6 for appreciation are fixed from the front inside the frame body 2. The intermediate frame 5 is a thick rectangular frame body with an opening at the center, and has a light emitting part 21 in one of the inner faces of the frame body with reflection films on the other three inner faces. A light emitting space 9 surrounded by the front frame plate 4, the intermediate frame 5 and the base plate 7 is configured in the frame body. The light emitted from the light emitting part 21 is equalized in the light emitting space 9 to irradiate the object 6 for appreciation. The light emitting part 21 comprises a plurality of light emitting diodes 22, which are ultraviolet light emitting members, and a diffusion plate 23 for diffusing the light upward from the light emitting diodes 22.
