A connector (21) facing a connector (12) provided inside an automatic transmission (5) is placed at a lower end, and another connector (22) exposed to the outside of the transmission (5) is placed at an upper end. The control unit has a unit body (20) on which a control device (23), such as a microcomputer for controlling the automatic transmission (5), is mounted, and the control unit also has a movable side guide section (24) formed at a lower part of the unit body (20). The movable side guide section (24) is guided by a projection (15) as a stationary side guide section and can connect the connector (21) at the lower end to the connector (12). Between the automatic transmission (5) and the unit body (20) is sealed by a flange (26) and packing (27) of a sealing mechanism section that cover, from the above, the through-hole (4a) for inserting the unit body (20) of the automatic transmission (5).
