<p>The present invention comprises a refuse bin (3) having spaced apart retaining zones (2), each retaining zone (2) including one or more retaining protections extending outwardly from the outer wall of the bin (3). The retaining protections of each retaining zone (2) define a retaining span having an extension about the periphery of the outer wall. Additionally, the refuse bin (3) may comprise a compartment (12) for receiving refuse and a second compartment (5) in fluid type separation from the first compartment (12) wherein the second compartment (5) is for storing carrier bags (1). A refuse bin (3) is therefore provided designed for re-use of carrier bags (1).</p> |
