CULTURED CELL CONSTRUCT OF ANIMAL CELL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cultured cell construct that can sustain the function specific to the parenchymal cells over a long period of time.

SOLUTION: In the cultured cell construct, a co-culture containing cultured parenchymal cells and non-parenchymal cells are stuck to small areas on the support body wherein the small areas have a certain fine area or a diameter and the individuals are separated one another by at least about 100 μm on the surface of the support made of hydrophilic polymer.
