<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an Ether-OAM switch apparatus in which packet delay does not occur in an Egress-side Ether-OAM unit even when an OAM packet is inserted. <P>SOLUTION: The Ether-OAM switch apparatus comprises an Egress-side Ether-OAM unit 40 which inserts an Ether-OAM packet, and a switch unit 30.
