PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching device capable of attaining its miniaturization and cost reduction, since the mechanical strength of the joint of a connecting conductor and an insulated operating rod can be reduced by reducing a bending moment acting on the joint. SOLUTION: In this switching device equipped with two sets of cutoff portions composed of movable electrodes 12L, 12R and stationary electrodes 11L, 11R, a connecting conductor 17 to integrally drive these movable electrodes of the cutoff portions, and an insulated operating rod 18 to transmit driving force to the connecting conductor 17, the insulated operating rod 18 to transmit the driving force to the connecting conductor 17 to integrally drive the movable electrodes 12L, 12R of two sets of the cut-off portions L, R is disposed by deviating it to the cut-off portion L side, and a welding reducing means to reduce welding between the electrodes compared with one cutoff portion L is provided in the other cutoff portion R.
