PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recording/reproducing system which conceals a title which a user wants to conceal among the titles recorded by the user. SOLUTION: When the user looks at a title list screen of the titles recorded by the user, and selects and determines the title name of the title the user wants to conceal by remote control operation, a concealment attribute information adding section adds the concealment attribute information to the title of the selected and determined title name, and next deletes the title name of the title to which the concealment attribute information is added from the title list screen so that other person than the user does not recognize the concealed title and cannot look at and listen to the concealed title.
