PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an SIMD and a memory array structure for the SIMD. SOLUTION: A single instruction multiple data processor (SIMD) includes a plurality of operation elements for executing parallel operations with input data, a memory for rearranging and storing the data to enable collision avoidance access for a memory access pattern required by a video codec, and a data interconnection unit for performing predetermined bit-shifting of a plurality of data output from the memory and providing a corresponding operation element with the plurality of data upon data access from the operation elements.
