PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a computer system, in which the storage area of a storage device is provided to a host computer, from simultaneously performing the mount of a storage area by the host computer and the maintenance of the storage area. SOLUTION: This storage managing device 60 in the computer system 10 instructs a maintenance device 70 to perform maintenance when the host computer 30 does not mount an LU (logical unit) 590 of the storage device 50, and allows the host computer 30 to mount the LU 590 of the storage device 50 while the maintenance device 70 does not maintaining the LU 590 of the storage device 50.
