PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance reliability of inter-wire insulation by preventing outflow of coating material from the stator insulator and filling the gap between coil wires fully with a coating material. SOLUTION: The stator 11 comprises: a steel stator core 13 from which tees 16 are projecting; a synthetic resin insulator 51 fixed to the axial end of the stator core 13; and a coil 14 wound around the tees 16 through the insulator 51. The insulator 51a is provided with an outer wall portion 56 for containing the coil on the inside, and a terminal lead-out groove 61 formed in the outer wall portion 56 by cutting. Footprint 62 of the terminal lead-out groove 61 is arranged in a position higher than the upper end of the coil 14 in the insulator 51a.
