PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of requiring a light source of a large power consumption in view of luminous flux utilization factor to a light source not so high in a headlight of a conventional structure. SOLUTION: Since a headlight for an automobile 1 is provided with a light guide path part 4 reaching to a back face side at a suitable position of a right and left direction of a first reflective surface 3 of a paraboloid system and with a light source 2 arranged at a position of a focus point, a second reflective surface 5 of a paraboloid system with an outlet 4b of each light guide path part 4 as a focus point at an outer side of right and left of the first reflective surface 3, a pair of third reflective faces 6 of an ellipse system with the light source 2 as a first focus point and an entrance 4a of the light guide path part 4 as a second focus point at near optical axis of the first reflective face 3, and a lens 7 at a front of those reflective faces, light not to be caught by the first reflective surface which is not used before is recovered by the third reflective surface, and is irradiated onto an illumination direction by the second reflective surface through the light guide path part, so that efficiency is improved.
