PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic analyzer, applied to an apparatus adapted to convey a rack holding a sample to an analyzing unit to analyze the sample, and not complicating the rack conveying system even if the number of analyzing units is one or increased to two or more. SOLUTION: This automatic analyzer has a rack standby disk rotated and stopped with a plurality of racks on standby, and a dedicated rack reciprocating conveying line is provided between each analyzing unit and the rack standby disk. A single rack is guided to the respective rack reciprocating conveying lines, and the racks are returned to the rack standby disk after the sample pick-out process. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
