PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball-shaped constant velocity joint for preventing a ball from running out of a predetermined position when centrifugal force operates on the ball without securing a contact point between the ball and a first ball groove of an outer ring. SOLUTION: The peripheral opening width of a window portion 53 of a cage 50 is formed larger than the diameter of the ball 40. Besides, the cage 50 has a first protruded portion 54 protruded from both peripheral ends on at least one of third axial opposite faces of the window portion 53, out of the outer periphery side edges of the window portion 53, toward the center of the window portion 53 so that its third axial opening width is smaller than the diameter of the ball 40.
