PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treatment of fiberfill fibers with aqueous dispersion of an organopolysiloxane without using a metal-containing catalyst. SOLUTION: The method for treating fiberfill fibers comprises contacting the fibers with an aqueous dispersion obtained by reaction of the organopolysiloxane (1), with a silane (2), in the presence of water (3), emulsifier (4) and optionally further silane (5), and optionally further materials (6), wherein no metal-containing catalyst is used and that the organopolysiloxane (1) and silane (2) are used in such amounts that the organopolysiloxane, after removal of water, forms an elastomeric film insoluble in toluene.
