PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tray cut out device appropriately separating one tray from a stacked tray group with a plurality of trays stacked in multiple stages without using a claw inserted into a clearance between trays. SOLUTION: This tray cut out device 10 separates one tray 11 from the stacked tray group 12, and is provided with a lifting mounting table 30 on which the stacked tray group 12 is mounted, a holding mechanism 50 holding the tray 11 at a position H of a predetermined height, and a body part 20 provided with the holding mechanism 50 and the lifting mounting table 30. After the lifting mounting table 30 is lifted and the uppermost tray 11 of the stacked tray group 12 is positioned at the position H of a predetermined height, the holding mechanism 50 holds the uppermost tray 11 and the lifting mounting table 30 is lowered while holding the uppermost tray 11 by the holding means 50, thereby separating one tray 11 from the stacked tray group 12.
