A monitor with a camera capable of performing schedule management and a monitor system are provided to dynamically play advertisement according to schedule and easily edit advertisement image contents transmitted to an advertisement monitor. A monitor includes a wired LAN(Local Area Network) controller(210), a nonvolatile memory(220), a schedule manager(230), a decoder(240), a camera(250), a control board(260), a display panel(270) and a speaker(280). The wired LAN controller receives an advertisement image file and schedule information from a server computer. The nonvolatile memory stores the received advertisement image file and the schedule information. The schedule manager reads the advertisement image file from the nonvolatile memory according to the schedule information. The decoder decodes the read advertisement image file to output an advertisement video signal and an advertisement audio signal. The camera is set in a bezel of the monitor, captures a moving picture and outputs a camera video signal. The control board mixes the advertisement video signal with the camera video signal to generate a final video signal and applies a predetermined equalizer to the advertisement audio signal. The display panel displays an image corresponding to the final video signal. The speaker outputs a sound corresponding to the advertisement audio signal.
