摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly activate a rotary printing press from a stopping state to be quickly shifted to synchronous control by eliminating generation of the vibration of the machine upon starting, gear noise, breakage and slack of a continuous form sheet. <P>SOLUTION: In the synchronous control system of the rotary printing press, a virtual rotation command generator 0101 is installed to a centralized control unit 01, and a phase command detector 0601 and phase FB detectors 0602, 0603 are installed to the synchronous drive apparatus of the printing press and a folding machine. Further, a rotation compensator for suppressing the influences of periodic load variation is installed to the folding machine. The printing press is, at first, smoothly operated at a slow moving speed, the output of the phase FB detector 0603 of the folding machine is preset to the virtual rotation command generator 0101 during stabilized slow moving operation, and then, the phase control of each printing press and the folding machine is turned on. Thereby, the folding machine is shifted to the synchronous control without needing original point aligning operation and each printing press is shifted to the synchronous control after smoothly carrying out the original point aligning operation with an original point aligning gain Gz. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
