<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an LED array capable of preventing stray light in simple configuration, LED array head and image recording apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A groove part 50 is formed on an opposite side of an LED 28 in a direction where a metal wiring layer 46 is disposed. This groove part 50 partitions the LED 28 into a light-emitting layer 28A and an erected wall 52 that becomes a light non-emitting layer. Thus, since the erected wall 52 is provided which opposes to an end face of the light emitting layer 28A, light leaked from the end face of the light emitting layer 28A in a lateral direction can be shielded.
