PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alarm device that does not alarm and annoy users and neighbors unnecessarily while maintaining the users' safety. SOLUTION: The alarm device 100 comprises a detection means 10 for detecting an anomalous state of a detection object, an external output means 50 capable of outputting an external alarm signal to an external device 53 for outputting an external alarm, and an alarm means 20 for causing the external output means to output the external alarm signal when the detection means 10 detects the anomalous state. The alarm means 20 is configured to switch the output state of the external alarm signal between a normal alarm state permitting the output of the external alarm signal and an external output stop state stopping the output of the external alarm signal.
