PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately facilitate communication among office workers to exchange information or chat with one another in the working space. SOLUTION: The furniture system is disposed in the working space and is for providing the working space with functions of storing and extracting information, a kitchen function and a function of facilitating information exchange among office workers. The furniture system comprises information extracting furniture parts 3 and 4 with storage spaces 312 and 412 for storing documents or books or information communication-related devices, a kitchen furniture part 2 with a storage space for storing kitchen devices, utensils or articles, and a counter furniture part 1 with a counter table for making office workers face one another or seated adjacent to one another. The height positions of the top boards 32 and 42 of the information extracting furniture parts 3 and 4, the top board 22 of the kitchen furniture part 2 and the top board 12 of the counter furniture part 1 are set approximately at the same height in the furniture system.
