The invention relates to a set for the secure electrical connection of a motor vehicle accessory (1) to an electrical energy source, comprising: a power connector (2) that can be connected to a power connection interface (11) of the accessory in order to connect said accessory (1) to the electrical energy source; a signal connector (4) that can be connected to a signal connection interface (12) of the accessory in order to connect said accessory (1) to an electronic device of the vehicle; and a locking means (3) for locking the power connector (2) in the connected position. Said set is characterised in that the locking means (3) is designed in such a way as to be able to occupy an "unlocked" position in which the connection of the power connector (2) is not locked and the locking means (3) prevents the connection of the signal connector (4) to the signal connection interface (12), and a "locked" position in which the connection of the power connector (2) is locked and the locking means (3) authorise the connection of the signal connector (4).
