PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine a discount amount upon purchasing physical media content by using a decryption right for reproducing encrypted content.

SOLUTION: In this discount amount determination system comprises a user terminal for receiving a decryption right for reproducing distributed encrypted content and a right server for transmitting the decryption right to determine a discount amount corresponding to a decryption right to be returned, the user terminal is provided with a decryption right list preparation means for preparing a decryption right list about the decryption right received from the right server and transmitting the decryption right list to the right server, and a decryption right returning means for returning a decryption right designated from the right server and transmitting a return result to the right server, and the right server is provided with a discount amount calculation means for calculating the discount amount on the basis of the decryption right list and designating the decryption right to be returned to the user terminal, and a discount acceptance/rejection determination means for determining acceptance/rejection of discount on the basis of the return result received from the user terminal.
