<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double-sided card printing device which requires small footprint and a short time necessary for a double-sided card printing with a simple operation. <P>SOLUTION: The double-sided card printing device is configured by vertically arranging a front side printing part for printing on a surface side (front side) of a card on a back side printing part for printing on the back side of the card. A vertical carrying path extending vertically is provided at a side of the both printing parts, and the both printing parts are connected by the vertical carrying path. The vertical carrying path is provided with a horizontal carrying path that reaches the respective printing parts via a rotation mechanism. A card can be fed from the vertical carrying path to the horizontal carrying path and from the horizontal carrying path to the vertical carrying path. A read/writing part for reading/writing magnetic information and electronic information from/in the card or an image reading part for reading printed contents of the card is provided along the vertical carrying path, and these processing are performed while the card is carried on the vertical carrying path. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
