PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of preventing the air from flowing without passing through a filter in a filter cleaning operation. SOLUTION: This air conditioner comprises a temperature adjusting portion 22, a humidity conditioning unit 4, the filter, a filter cleaning portion 79 and a control portion 80. The temperature adjusting portion 22 takes the indoor air, adjusts its temperature and supplies the air indoors. The humidity conditioning unit 4 takes the outdoor air and supplies the same indoors. The filter eliminates dust from air taken from indoor and outdoor air. The filter cleaning portion 79 cleans the dust attached to the filter by moving the filter. The control portion 80 inhibits the filter cleaning operation by the filter cleaning portion 79 during the execution of a temperature adjusting operation by the temperature adjusting portion 22 and the execution of a ventilating operation by the humidity conditioning unit 4.
