PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus including a plurality of channel estimators in which a channel is estimated by each channel estimator and an accurate channel estimate is selected for each subcarrier, whereby an error rate of data can be improved. SOLUTION: The channel estimation apparatus in wireless communication using a large number of subcarriers includes: a first channel estimator which estimates a channel for each subcarrier based on a pilot signal mapped in each subcarrier; a second estimator which further estimates a channel for each subcarrier using the channel estimate obtained by the first channel estimator; and a channel selector which selects and outputs first and second channel estimates obtained by the first and second channel estimators according to the respective subcarriers.
