PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce execution of processing cycles for outputting a trigonometric function value of high accuracy while suppressing circuit scale expansion. SOLUTION: A trigonometric function is generated by repeatedly performing predetermined arithmetic processing. At first, on the basis of a first value and a second value of this processing cycle, multiplication processing using a predetermined multiplication value n and division processing are performed to obtain a first output value and a second output value. Then, the second output value and the first value are alternately selected for each processing cycle and output. The second value of this processing cycle is taken as the first value for the next processing cycle, and the first output value output in this processing cycle is taken as the second value of the next processing cycle.
