PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weft yarn-selecting device contributing to miniaturization, speedup, high durability and production cost reduction of the device by simplifying the device, hardly causing malfunction, and enabling a weft yarn finger to be reciprocally moved at a prescribed pitch precisely. SOLUTION: The weft yarn-selecting device is equipped with the two weft yarn fingers F1 and F2 for selecting the weft yarn, one selector gear G for driving the two weft yarn fingers F1 and F2, and a motor M for rotating the selector gear G. Each of meshing means 2 meshing with the selector gear G is continuously installed in each of the two weft yarn fingers F1 and F2, and the weft yarn fingers F1 and F2 are reciprocally moved by rotating the selector gear G in the normal direction or the reverse direction thereof.
