PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable pants type diaper for which it is easy to tightly attach both side edge parts of a crotch area around legs. SOLUTION: Respectively on a part near a front waist area 7 and a part near a rear waist area 8 on the inner surface of the crotch area 6 of the pants type diaper 1, belt-like members 21 and 22 crossing a body fluid absorption part 4 in the crotch area 6 are provided. Both distal ends of the respective belt-like members 21 and 22 are joined to leakage prevention parts 43R and 43L formed at both side edge parts of the body fluid absorption part 4. A part between both distal ends is formed so as to be separated from the inner surface of the crotch area 6.
