PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise drying efficiency by efficiently supplying heat blow into a drum even when a heat blow outlet and an exhaust port are provided at the upper part of an outer tub. SOLUTION: Straightening boards 29 are provided close to the heat blow outlet 21 in a heat blow supply passage 22 and the heat blow is uniformly directed downward along the straightening boards 29. Consequently, the heat blow entered the drum 4 easily reaches down to the bottom part side of the drum 4, thereby efficiently performing heat exchange with laundry. Projecting parts 2b projecting inward from the inner peripheral surface of the outer tub 2 are provided at the peripheral edge part of the heat blow outlet 21 and the peripheral edge part of the exhaust port 31, thereby reducing the heat blow which flows from the heat blow outlet 21 to the exhaust port 31 through a gap between the inner peripheral surface of the outer tub 2 and the outer peripheral surface of the drum 4.
