<p>The method involves calibrating an omni-directional camera (4) during operation based on an object unit (1.1) e.g. outer contour, that is identified in detected image information. An image position (BP1.1) and an object position (OP1.1) are determined for the identified object unit. A value for a calibration factor e.g. rotational factor and translation factor, is determined based on a determined deviation between the image position and the object position. The factor describes the alignment of the omni-directional camera. An independent claim is also included for a device for calibrating an omni-directional camera.</p> |
