FUNCTION MODIFIER OF NK CELL AND METHOD FOR SCREENING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medicament having a new mechanism of action for modifying functions (production of cytokine/chemokine) of an NK cell bearing important roll in biophylaxis against infection/tumor or the like, and to provide a method for screening the medicament.

SOLUTION: The modifier selective to the production of the cytokine and/or chemokine in the NK cell contains a material capable of modifying the expression or function of constituent factors (e.g. Carmal and Bcl10) of a CBM complex, participating in the activation of the NK cell. The method for screening the material capable of selectively modifying the production of the cytokine and/or the chemokine in the NK cell includes evaluating whether a specimen modifies the expression or function of the constituent factor of the CBM complex. The NK cell wherein the expression or function of the constituent factor of the CBM complex is modified is also provided.
