FUNCTION EXPANSION METHOD OF SMALL INDICATOR AND DISPLAY DEVICE WITH THE SMALL INDICATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To expand the function of a small indicator optionally while ensuring an advantage of the smallness of the small indicator.

SOLUTION: The function expansion method of the small indicator for displaying a state of an external device controlled by a PLC comprises the steps of: preparing a plurality of kinds of function expansion modules; selecting a function expansion module from among the plurality of kinds of function expansion modules; and laying in steps the selected one kind or a plurality of kinds of function expansion modules on the back of the small indicator optionally, and using an extension connector to connect the modules to the small indicator.
