<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus capable of sharing limited network bands among a plurality of quality classes. <P>SOLUTION: Congestion control units 19, 29 are connected to a network 100, data frame terminating units 12, 22, lowest-priority quality class queues 18, 28 and rate control units 14, 15, 24, 25, respectively and comprise a means for transmitting a data frame received from another communications apparatus via the network 100 to the data frame terminating units 12, 22; a means for terminating a health check frame, received from another communications apparatus via the network 100; a means for generating a health check frame, addressed to another communication apparatus and registering it in the lowest-priority quality class queues 18, 28; and a means for instructing a transmission rate, corresponding to a quality class with respect to the rate control units 14, 15, 24, 25. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
