<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein constant capacity required for a hot water supply apparatus cannot always be acquired because a plurality of stable states exist for the same discharge temperature when controlling the discharge temperature to a target value as a result of evaluating a refrigerating circuit which controls the discharge temperature by an expanding means using a high-low pressure heat exchanger performing overheat gasification of a compressor intake refrigerant. <P>SOLUTION: This heat pump water heater uses carbon dioxide as a refrigerant, and comprises a capacity recovery control means for controlling capacity to be predetermined capacity when determining capacity shortage by determining whether capacity in a stable state is predetermined capacity when the operation of a refrigerating cycle is in a stable state in controlling the discharge temperature to be a target discharge temperature, controlling a hot water discharge temperature to be a target hot water discharge temperature and controlling capacity to be the predetermined capacity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
