<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anode catalyst capable of reducing the overvoltage of a direct alcohol type fuel cell for improved electromotive force and current density, and to provide a membrane electrode assembly, comprising the anode catalyst, a fuel cell comprising the membrane electrode assembly, and an electronic device comprising the fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: In the anode catalyst, an alloy of platinum, ruthenium and molybdenum is carried by carrier of carbon, and the percentage of the equivalent weight of molybdenum with respect to the total weight of platinum, ruthenium, molybdenum is 14% or lower. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
