PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fan-unit attaching tool whereby a fan unit can be post-installed easily in a plate, and even when a large vibration is generated in the fan unit, the transferring of the vibration to the plate can be suppressed effectively. SOLUTION: The fan-unit attaching tool 10 has an engaging portion 11 made of a vibration-damping material which is engaged with a flange 5 of a fan unit and has a fixable fastening portion 13 to a plate 8 which supports the engaging portion 11 from its outer periphery. Also, a portion 11d of the engaging portion 11 is exposed to the external from a spill port 13d formed on the top surface of the fastening portion 13. Since when a pressure is applied to the engaging portion 11 from the flange 5 the portion 11d is so deformed in the outside direction of the fan unit through the spill port 13d as to relax this pressure, the transferring of a vibration to the plate 8 can be suppressed effectively.
