PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe processor failure processing method in an electronic computer (multi-processor system) in a multi-processing system. SOLUTION: An embodiment shown by Figure 1 is the overview configuration diagram of a main storage device sharing type multi-processor system. When any failure occurs in one of the processors, a processor assignment means 301 assigns an execution environment prepared for failure processing to one of the processors where the failure does not occur to execute failure processing. A process space overwriting means 201 overwrites the execution environment of the processor where the failure occurs with a processor failure processing execution means 421 to execute the failure processing, and the failure processing execution content of the processor failure processing execution means 421 includes performing release by referring to exclusive control information of the failure occurrence processor, and performing the stop processing of the program under execution.
