PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic resin composition excellent in mechanical strengths, heat resistance, moisture heat resistance and a hue on emitting fluorescence, and a molded item composed of the resin composition. SOLUTION: The thermoplastic resin composition comprises 100 pts.wt. of a polycarbonate resin (component A), 0.1-50 pts.wt. of an ultraviolet-emitting pigment (component B) and 0.5-10 wt.%, based on the component B, of a silane compound (component C).
