PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for controlling rhizome rot occurring in plants of the family Zingiberaceae such as Zingiber mioga, etc., without using a chemical agrochemical, etc. SOLUTION: The rhizome rot controller comprises a Pythium species antagonistic fungus belonging to the genus Aspergillus or Penicillium as an active ingredient.
