PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately grasp the time (a service life) until there is a failure of each door on an elevator hall side and a cage side. SOLUTION: A torque measuring part 29 is provided for measuring the torque A of a door motor 17 driving the cage side door 13 engaging with the elevator hall side door 11. A position sensor is provided for detecting starting and finishing of opening and closing operation of the door 13. An opening and closing time distance measuring part 33 is provided for measuring an opening and closing time distance from starting until finishing of the opening and closing of the door detected by the position sensor. An evaluation function storing part 36 is provided for storing an evaluation function Y=F(x,y) regarding failure generation of the door when the opening and closing time distance B and the torque A are respectively variables x, y. A failure predicting part 37 is provided for carrying out failure prediction of the doors 11, 13 by using the evaluation function with respect to the measured torque A and opening and closing time distance B.
