PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install a wrapping material in a container without causing any tilting installation, wrinkles and color irregularities or the like. SOLUTION: A wrapping material installing apparatus (10) for installing the wrapping material (60) in the container (50) is equipped with a container preheating means (20) for preheating at least a part (53) of the container, a wrapping material arranging means (41) for arranging the wrapping material so that the container may be surrounded and a wrapping material heating means (30) for heating the wrapping material at a shrinkage starting temperature or more of the wrapping material, and the wrapping installing apparatus whereby the wrapping material is shrunk around the container and has been made to install in this container. The corresponding portion (54') of the container (50) in which the wrapping material (60) is shrunk most may be preheated. Moreover, the container preheating means may include a container rotating means (25) capable of rotating the container, and further, it is preferable to equip with a natural cooling suppression means (42) which suppresses that the container preheated by the container preheating means is cooled by the natural cooling between the container preheating means and the wrapping material heating means.
