HEATING FURNACE FOR RESIN CAPSULE ENCAPSULATING RESIN FOR MOLDING DENTURE BASE AND DENTAL CROWN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately melt an internal resin so as to be a target temperature and a uniform temperature by heating a whole capsule where the resin for molding a denture base and a dental crown is encapsulated. SOLUTION: A heating furnace includes: a cylinder for storing the resin capsule in an insertable/extractable manner; a metallic block having a through-hole for storing the cylinder in an insertable/extractable manner; refractories for surrounding a block outer surface excluding a surface where the one-side opening of the through-hole is present; a resistance heating element embedded into the refractories; and a door with a refractory surface for closing the surface where the one-side opening in the metallic block is present in an openable/closable manner. The resin capsule is stored in the cylinder and stored in the through-hole of the metallic block. Then, the surface where the one-side opening is present is closed by the door. In the state, the resistance heating element is energized, thereby heating and melting the resin in the resin capsule. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
