PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handpiece for ultrasonic surgical instrument by which the distal end part of a horn can excellently be visualized, and to provide the horn. SOLUTION: The handpiece for ultrasonic surgical instrument includes: the horn whose distal end part is vibrated by ultrasonic wave; and an outer cylinder part covering a part other than the distal end part of the horn.
