An ECU executes a program which includes a step (S1010) of turning on an SMRP and an A-SMRP when an ignition switch is turned on (YES at S1000); a step (S1040) of detecting voltage values (VB(1), VB(2)) of operating batteries when a VH is detected (S1020) and that the VH is higher than 180V (YES at S1030); a step (S1060) of detecting that the SMRP connected to the operating battery is welded when the VB(1) is higher than 150V (YES at S1050); and a step (S1080) of detecting that the A-SMRB connected to the operating battery is welded when the VB (2) is higher than 150V (YES at S1070).
