METHOD AND DEVICE OF GROUP BROADCAST PROTECTION IN WDM OPTICAL NETWORK

A method of group broadcast protection in a WDM optical network, comprises: A. Obtaining a work path from a source node to a target node (S401); B. Obtaining a protective path corresponding to the work path (S402); C. Repeating steps A and B, until obtaining all the work paths from the source node to all the target nodes and the corresponding protective paths (S403). After obtaining a work path, subsequently obtain a protective path corresponding to the work path, so as to avoid the cases that it occupies much more network resource that constructing the work tree by all the work paths and consequently couldn't construct the protective tree successfully. And a device of group broadcast protection in a WDM optical network.
