Apparatus for feeding sheets, such as cheques, punched cards, or the like of various sizes, to a sorting or other machine comprises a sheet stack hopper, means for separating individual sheets from the stack, means for advancing the stack along the hopper towards the separator, and sheet advancing means for receiving sheets from the separator, the stack advancing means including first and second stack pushers adapted to engage respective areas of the stack for advancing the stack along the hopper. The apparatus is identical with that described in Specification 909,982. |
