PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-storing substance capable of controlling latent heat temperature region, and having a high heat-storing density and flame retardant property.

SOLUTION: This heat-storing substance is an ammonium salt having 0 to 130°C melting point and expressed by general formula (1) [wherein, R1, R3are each a 1-10C hydrocarbon group; R2, R4, R5are each hydrogen or a 1-3C hydrocarbon group; and X is fluorine or phenyl].
