<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To thin an adhesive layer for adhering a dimming sheet to a surface light emitter, and to greatly improve the takeout efficiency of light emitted from the surface light emitter in the surface light emitter having a surface light emitting element, a manufacturing method of the surface light emitter, and a display device using the surface light emitter. <P>SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of the surface light emitter, the tips of projections optically adhere to the emission surface of the surface light emitting element via the adhesive layer in the surface light emitting element and the dimming sheet having the plurality of projections at least on one surface, and at least one portion of the tips of the projections is buried inside the adhesive layer. In the manufacturing method of the surface light emitter, a medium layer containing an adhesive is formed on the surface light emitting element or the dimming sheet, and then the thickness of the medium layer containing an adhesive is reduced by not less than 30%, and the surface light emitting element is optically adhered to the dimming sheet to form the adhesive layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
