<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for determining susceptibility of an antharcycline-based anticancer agent not imposing a burden on a patient and objective and accurate. <P>SOLUTION: The method for determining the susceptibility of the anticancer agent has steps of detecting activated Akt in a cancer cell or cancer tissue and determining the susceptibility of the antharcycline-based anticancer agent based on the detection results.
